SALLY ANGELES HORTON
I Walk into our Masterclass and Introduce Myself.
Good Afternoon, my name is Sally Horton.
Do you plan on using your middle name professionally?
Well, I guess "Sally Horton" alone is quite bland.
The only reason I ask, is that you will have difficulties signing up for equity, as it is quite a common name. When I signed up, "Christopher Evans" was already taken. My full name is "David Christopher Evans" and I ended up having to choose my third option, "Christopher Dee", as everything else was taken. It's important that you establish your name and your reputation as early as possible, and if you must change your name, you must rebuild your reputation from scratch.
How many other Sally Hortons are there? After a simple google search, I found plenty of Sally's on Twitter and Facebook, some who even shorten to "Sal" and I thought…. Man, this Christopher Dee guy's got a point. Moreover, the pool of Sally's seem to reside in the UK, where my surname originated. Go me!
So here we are, at the crossroads in which I venture away from Sally Horton and into Sally Angeles Horton. It flows nicely enough, and it shows my multi-culture background. That'll do, pig. That'll do.
Almost Famous
In February of 2013, I had the fortunate meeting with Dave Bond, head of acting and my RWCMD auditioner in L.A.
In March of 2014, he conducted a few Acting Sessions with us, and on our final day with him, we recorded. This is me being neutral, but it has an element of skeptic in it as well. Just behind the eyes, you see.

Getting Out
I was lucky enough to make a trip to Cardiff Bay and to London in the past week! The Bay had some beautiful scenes, and I was happy to be there with @Emma Hickey. I am a soon-to-be Musical Theatre Princess! We were there meeting with a company that puts on little shows for birthday parties and small-scale interactive performances. I got dibs on Snow, Emma's going to have to be Rapunzel.

Eating Out
Emma and I decided to try some "Award Winning" fish and chips at the bay… Not that outstanding, and they interestingly put mint into their mushy peas; I am Not sold on that idea. We topped our lunch off with something a little more promising: the Fabulous Welsh Cakes.

In London, I took a few hours in Leicester Square. I was able to meet up with +Sofia Monfardini, my long lost Italian/French/Peruvian friend that I met in Australia! How confusing! But so much fun!!!!
SO MUCH FUN.
I had just finished singing for the competition and was enthralled to be alive, so the afternoon on red wine and an empty stomach really boded well with me. After getting some eats from Chinatown, we returned to a pub to dine on fine desserts.
And that Brings Me to…
What we've all been waiting for: the results of the competition! I didn't get to the second round, but I had some positive feedback from the panel when I was in the room, so perhaps they just forgot my bland name. Joking of course :) My partner in crime @Jay Worley made it to round two, and I'm so proud of him! I'm sure he will go on stunningly to the final round, which I may just go and watch if I can manage. All the best, Jay!
And to Conclude…
Kitty was caught doing yoga in the middle of the road. I haven't been able to master this pose as well as she!
