Best Kick-off to a Year

As much as it sucked to have to spend NYE on a plane, I have to admit my time in 2015 has been optimal. Australia, seriously you are the best. From living with +Nicholas Cellini in Ultimo, to waking for 6am tennis with +Mark Horton , I was having a blast. You know me. Every day was a series of coffee/tea dates and chilling and going to the beach. I got a "healthy glow" regardless of the lack of sleep. Moreover, I got to see many of my NUTS friends throughout the stay!

The Bickering

If you know my relationship with +Matthew "Scabs" Northover, you know that we tend to talk smack to one another but are wholeheartedly well-intentioned. However, when he shirked off our plans because he had the opportunity to go water-skiing, I got upset. But then he invited me to come along, so I made a day trip to the Hawkesbury River.

The Bonding

After a day on the water, we returned to Schofield for a dip in the pool. Cannot believe how far we've come and how very little our relationship has changed.

The Best

With the time seeping away, I realised I would have to organise a massive dinner if I wanted to see all my friends before I left. On a Monday night when most of my friends were going back to their day jobs, they still were able to make time for me! I am so grateful that I got to see everyone, and that they're so supportive of me and my decision to stay in Cardiff, pursuing acting! Thank you all so much. I will always remember your hospitality and our friendship, and you've made it impossible for me to live this life without the HUGE desire to return to Sydney eventually. Sayonara, Sydney.

Before I Go

Just needed to say that my passport has been sent off to the British Consulate. I'm on my way to getting a UK Visa so I can work there for the next few years. How did all this happen in 9 days?!

2015, you are promising to be a crazy, eventful year! I love you already :)
