It's 5 O'clock Somewhere

Typing this up at 2am…

Now you've never seen dedication like this. Per usual, I'm sending the friday night blog, but this time around I've been bombarded with Vino of the blanc y rouge varieties. Tonight has been an awesome evening, as me Sharon and Alice (from RWCMD) joined others in a performance at the Cardiff Story Museum under the direction of James Williams.

These extracurricular experiences are crucial. Firstly, because we are all interested in how we manage in a non-college setting. Let's face it; when at college, we work under the pressures that are inflicted by tutors that expect us to achieve to a set standard; here, we are allowed to let our creativity and intuition flow. We are no longer scared of not doing the right thing, but excited about doing something different.

Secondly, because it is a taster of what it will be like to be a performer in the long run. To me, there's always the debate about how best to use my talents, and which talents I should explore further. Without a doubt, musical theatre will always be part of my life. Yet I want to be working towards a greater cause, one that is fulfilling to myself by being impacting on others' wellbeing (not solely for entertainment). The perfect solution is not easily decipherable… but hey, that's the lure of life, isn't it?

This week has been a sunny one. We've spent a lot of time outdoors, and I have endeavoured to even out my tan by removing straps, etc. I'll spare you the sight and post some rather neutral pictures. One of Alice, my personal photographer. One of squirrel, my one time friend, and two of myself, practicing for our head shots that will be taken next week.

Did I mention I pass this ^ every time I bike to Mass? Lucky me!

Sally's Out. Peace.
