Meet My Hubby

It's Official.

Paul and I are getting married!

Feelin' Groovy * Amy & Paul

Okay, so his name's not actually Paul (and mine's definitely not Amy). But listen, we're doing this musical by +Stephen Sondheim and, you know. We're a thing now. Paul and I link arms, he drives me home, spoon-feeds me, spoons me.

Okay so there's another person involved in this spooning sesh, but we've since been exclusive.

I couldn't be more excited! Once upon a time, Coran offered to marry me so I could stay in the UK. What a sweetie! Now his character's marrying mine, and it's totally the same thing. I am happy to say that we plan on getting married on December 5th ... and we'll repeat the ceremony several more times. Personalised Wedding Invitation!

I'm also happy to say that this is the first time in my acting career that I've auditioned for a specific role and actually gotten it. I would've been content with a lot of the characters from Company, but every time I've seen the show, Amy has always stuck out for me. Crazy Amy.

No really, she's psychotic.

CAN'T WAIT.

Don't Want to Give Too Much Away

But Company lovers will be pleasantly surprised with James' interpretation. We're setting it in the 60s, devising a hectic yet functional set, and maybe putting in some circus skills. Amy is not going to be done traditionally either (seriously, just book your tickets now). This week, we went to No Fit State to do a 2-hr introduction to aerial skills. We worked with trapeze, silks and rope, and I'm eager to get back and try again! Since our tutorial, I've been doing minimal workouts to establish some upper body strength. Don't judge; minimal is better than nothing!

60s Hair and Makeup. I tried! ...
... Properly tried. Devised a curler out of an old toilet roll at 2am.
Did I need to share that? No, I didn't.
But I did anyway.

Thank You, Readers!

I'm officially going to break into the 7,000s with this post. It's time for me to publish and leave you to do the dirty work! Au Revoir! à plus tard! (oh yeah, I'm learning French too).
