My Prodigal Sons
Pleasant Surprises
Hi ladies and gentlemen. Life has been a bit of a slovenly mess this week. Sure, I went to three dance classes, rewrote a monologue, had shifts at all three jobs And took some booty home from the County Club (half an apple pie). But in my head, it's been slovenly, so there we have it.
I guess my "progress" was stalled by the fact that I'm online, constantly searching for the right place in London to live. I want to live as close to the city as possible so I can invest in a bike and cycle around like I always do. Of course, I'd have to sacrifice either a) a lot of money or b) a lot of space or c) a lot of time for that to happen. I'm going to wait for the right place with the right space at the right price. It's doable, I know it. I can feel it in my fingers/toes/other extremities.
Just a funny note, one of the potential rooms had a comment, "No Noisemaker please!"
Sorry, but what exactly is a noisemaker?! Why are you discriminating against musicians?!?! I'm going to file a complaint.
Prodigal Son Number 1
I had an hour between dance classes so I decided to go give Matt a visit. Matt has been my ally these past few weeks. Don't tell him (let's ignore the fact that he usually reads le blog). I had a slight inkling though, that James would be home too, and alas!!!!!! He was!!!!!!
AAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!
Within hours of him arriving back in Cardiff, I was over, and was overly enthused that he was home. I began begging him to play so I could belt a tune. It's been too long. Why was he gone for two weeks? I don't understand. Well, much to my dismay, he said we'll practice another time in his usual, measured manner, and then his answer to every question forthwith was "whiskey". Needless to say, I skipped that dance class (I just watched the boys drink, honestly).
Prodigal Son Number 2
Okay, if you can't guess who this is, then you don't really know who I am.
Prodigal Son Number 2 is +shijie xu! I randomly messaged him over fb just now and he said he's in the taxi on the way home. WHAT IS THIS NONSENSE?! I've been missing Tommy very much (he cooks some of the best potatoes my stomach has ever embraced), and I am currently wearing his joggers. I hate that we're the same size, but glad also, because he lent me these when my trousers got rained through once upon a time. Oh, Tommy :)

| THE QUESTION IS..... WHY AREN'T YOU SO EXCITED?! |
Do you know what this means? Both my boys are back! Actually, neither of them are my boys as I have no claim over them at all, but that's fine. Deal with it.
I am compelled to give a shout-out to Matt who's dealt with me the past two weeks. Now that I've found a dance studio around the corner from his place, I seem to be over there way too much. Also shoutout to Vangelos (another one in the Matt/James flat), who must also deal with my random visits. I asked him if he'd like to be featured in le blog and he said yes. Since he feeds me plenty of things (you guys should've seen how much pork was there on Greekster - greek easter - and that one time he gave me four biscuits on the piggy plate), I will gladly help him out. Seriously, listen to his version of Pistorello and tell me that he's as awesome as I think he is.
Life is Suddenly Great
See how a little change can make a big difference? Just knowing that I'll see Tommy tomorrow is blessing enough. I am such a turd.
Let's just ignore this and move on, shall we?
Reflection
I've always sort of kind of known that I like guys a lot (like like guys and just like guys) and they really are just so much fun to be around. That being said, I want to bring attention to the fact that I've been out on the town the last two weekends with Jo(hanna), Kelly and Emma. Thank you for the excuse to dress up and be pretty.
Oh, how I love to be wearing Tommy's joggers typing this in bed right now.
Bring on the bank holiday weekend!!!!!
