Believin' and Babin'

Make my own lyrics. Make my own songs.

…with lyrics such as "This shower is cold!" and "That's not my monster!" Actually, the latter is from one of Amelia's baby books, but I added some rhymes as the song progressed. The shower song is actually a metaphor for… um. Just joking, it was frigid.

Talk about writing songs, I was so grateful to be able to see Lauryn Hill perform Sunday night. She's a hip hop artist with profound lyrics.

Picnic Pants and Purple Pumps? Okay Lauryn

Sometimes, making your own song isn't the best thing to do.

For instance, when you're singing Vivaldi's Gloria and you come in with the tenors rather than the altos. Oh Sal, when will you learn?

A Facade of Confidence

Find out what you can change. Like… your audience.

Spent a day with Amelia, who had to put up with my singing (of both Sally originals and well-known songs).

Resting Together

Wait. Sal. Those specs!

For the first time EVER, I decided to veer away from my usual thin-rimmed, minimalistic glasses. This pair is a rare find. It has a black base with golden brown highlights and a few clear areas, meaning my skin colour is shining through. Suits me!

The story of the girl in the dollhouse.

That dollhouse was a purchase during a neighbourhood yard sale. I was in love with it, so much so that I decided to climb in. Alas, that photo was the first and last time I played with the dollhouse; I was stuck, and broke it while emerging. Kids just don't get scaling sometimes.
