Tech Time

At college, this week was primarily dedicated to fine-tuning and teching our show. Oh, what a show does to people. I used to think that shows were a place where you got a lot of "strong" friends really quickly, but your relationships fizzled out after the run was through. Doing a show with 11 other people that I've spent the last six months with... well even though I've spent every day with them prior to this show, our friendships were completely re-vamped because of this experience. 

We've spent an inordinate amount of time at college. Yesterday, we finished at 2200, but hey... the sky hadn't darkened completely. The weather is completely bizarre in this country, getting light early in the morning, never properly getting dark. It is a completely different place to the rainy, overcast Wales I moved to back in January. 

10pm. Time to bike home!

Goofing Time

Watching everyone and their interactions, I find it absolutely hilarious! I've tried to capture our cast as candidly as possible. Singing in dressing rooms, playing pokemon, eating. Here's a sneak preview of our outstanding cast looking a bit less focused than perhaps we ought to be.

I actually doubt anyone from College will appreciate these photos. But they had to be documented. I am sure to have dementia in a few years, so it's important to take photos! We've got some interesting mirror effects occurring occasionally in the photos. Enjoy!

Party Time

Alas, Tommy and Louis have moved out, and tonight we celebrated in their new apartment! What an interesting evening... meeting new people always brings out fresh conversations. Tommy has had difficulties settling in, and I gently remind him that we miss him here at Severn Point. His place is close to college and shops, but in its own little cul de sac, so it's removed from outdoor sounds. Here's to hoping I can visit plenty in the upcoming term!
